// Shipping
Ordering from outside the US.
Last updated October 9, 2026
We only ship to US addresses. We're a small shop that packs every order by hand, and shipping overseas ourselves isn't something we can do well yet. But if you're outside the US and really want a drive, there's a way: a package forwarding service.
How it works
- Sign up with a package forwarder. MyUS and Planet Express are two popular ones. We're not affiliated with either, so pick whichever works for you.
- They give you a US address with your own suite or account number.
- Order from us like normal and use that address at checkout. Copy it exactly the way the forwarder gives it to you, suite number included, and use the same name you signed up with. Without the suite number, the forwarder can't tell the package is yours.
- We ship it to the forwarder like any other US order, and you get the tracking number by email.
- The forwarder sends it on to you. You pay them for the international shipping, and you pay your country's import taxes or duties (some forwarders collect those up front, others on delivery). Keep our order confirmation email, since forwarders sometimes ask for it to declare the value for customs.
What it costs
For one drive, the forwarder's shipping and fees usually run about $13 to $25, before your country's import tax. Get a quote from the forwarder before you order, and send it on soon after it arrives, since free storage at some forwarders only lasts about 10 days. Checkout is in US dollars, and your bank may add a foreign transaction fee.
Where our part ends
- Our job is done when the package reaches the forwarder's US address. The tracking we send covers that part.
- Our 30-day replacement guarantee still covers the drive itself. A replacement ships to the same US address, so you'd pay to forward it again.
- Anything after the forwarder, like customs delays, lost packages or damage in international shipping, is between you and them.
Countries we can't sell to
US export rules don't let us sell to Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Cuba or Syria, or to the occupied regions of Ukraine. That includes orders sent through a forwarder. If an order is headed to one of those places, we'll refund it instead of shipping it.
Will it work where I live?
Nothing about the drive is tied to the US. It's the same drive with the same computer compatibility you see on our product pages, wherever you plug it in.
